ASAP Rocky's ongoing assault trial has taken a new turn as previously unseen text messages between him and ASAP Relli were presented in court. These messages, allegedly exchanged in 2021, surfaced in connection to accusations that Rocky fired shots at Relli. In one exchange, Relli accused Rocky of setting him up after they had agreed to meet outside a Hollywood Trader Joe’s to resolve their differences. Rocky denied the claim, responding, “I tried to do what?? … Stop making sh*t up Rell.”
Relli further alleged that surveillance cameras in the area had captured the incident. Rocky dismissed the accusation, urging Relli to stop contacting him. “Now u trynna extort n***** talkin bout i shot at u n shot u 4 times and all type of nonsense, u a phony and u dont have the best intentions,” Rocky wrote. He then suggested that if Relli truly believed he had been shot, he should go to the authorities instead of reaching out to his manager.
ASAP Relli Takes the Stand
During his testimony, Relli spoke about the profound impact the alleged shooting has had on his life. He described the situation as a “living hell,” citing ongoing threats and being labeled a “snitch” for coming forward. “Death threats, people labeling me a snitch for telling what happened,” he explained. “My social media, everything I’m doing for artists social media, I don’t have a presence there no more.”
The trial is still ongoing, with more details expected to emerge as the case progresses.
